What you'll learn & achieve:

Industry and product marketing translates the organization's business objectives, market opportunities and portfolio of offerings into a well-defined, cohesive go-to-market strategy for vertical industries and horizontal solutions. The global and strategic account growth and thought leadership leader aligns products, services and solutions to global and strategic accounts, thereby driving clarity and efficiency in go-to-market execution.

The Global and Strategic Account Growth and Thought Leadership Lead will leverage the industry and product knowledge of the Industry and Product Marketing organizations and Global and Strategic Account teams in order to develop presentations, communication material, and drive campaign strategies in support of our revenue generation efforts for global and strategic accounts. This individual will collaborate extensively with the Global Strategic Account leaders, Industry Marketing leaders and SMEs on the development of communication materials to support sales growth at UL's most important customers.

  • Strategic planning, development, oversight and optimization of account based marketing campaigns incorporating thought leadership and high value content in support of customers and representing UL's global portfolio.
  • Help to scale support solutions for Global and Strategic Account teams, including customer facing materials, communications support and amplification, liaising Global and Strategic Account teams' marketing and sales enablement needs through standard marketing systems and processes.
  • Provide a range of editorial and communications consult to coworkers and other business partners, both strategic and tactical, as necessary, including creation of marketing and communication plans.
  • Owns development of key messaging and value propositions that links our portfolio and industry messaging to our Global and Strategic customer's business strategies.
  • Support the industry and product marketing team in the development of industry presentation materials that would be used in customer presentations.
  • Coordinate development of global and strategic account presentations, videos and executive speeches that would be used for meetings and events with our global and strategic accounts.
  • Employs Storytelling techniques to create compelling content
  • Pursue a derivative content model that connects and maximizes any enablement or customer-facing material developed
  • Ensures sales enablement needs of our global and strategic account team are understood and met, partnering with Commercial Excellence as needed.
  • Follow the UL Standards of Business Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Contribute to business success by performing other tasks as required.



What makes you a great fit:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field with a minimum of 6 years directly related experience
  • Knowledge of social/digital marketing development and performance
  • Understanding of role industry associations and thought-leader organizations play in influencing buyer journeys in the European marketplace
  • Experience partnering with regional resources to support localization of marketing approaches
