How you will impact the organization
The Account Based Marketing Director is responsible for implementing and executing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies in order to optimize engagement within specific customer accounts. The position is the key driver of creating highly effective ABM campaigns for Partner, Direct and Key Accounts level. This individual performs research on target accounts to discover new opportunities and partners with sales and account management teams to ensure that existing accounts are being optimized to their fullest potential. This role will approach both online campaigns and ABM strategy with data-driven metrics. The position collaborates closely across marketing, sales, and sales development teams for a fully integrated approach.
The value you will deliver
- Identify targets in the account base to nurture and grow for the purposes of outbound ABM campaigns
- Perform continuous research to find “Best” possible account targets within our existing database
- Create targeted campaigns from continued research for Partner, Mid-Market and Up-Market leads
- Leverage tools such as D&B sales optimizer, Discover.org, Clearbit, Definitive Health to find targeted accounts
- Work with marketing to create collateral to support ABM campaigns such as videos and e-mail campaigns
- Roll out outbound/ABM campaigns on a continuous basis
- Manage and drive metrics for marketing online keyword campaigns and their sales effectiveness (i.e. conversions)
- Assist in creating outbound calling strategy (Number of passes, connect rates, lead to opportunity to close)
- Generate data reports and points to help with the sales organization strategize and execute ABM campaigns to achieve sales goals
- Interface with sales leadership to determine sales enablement needs, and work with product/solution marketing to develop tools, programs in a box, training and content
- Apply an experimentation mindset to ABM campaigns to drive, test, learn, and optimize
- Iterate and optimize campaigns based on data and analysis of ABM campaigns and tactics
- Provide ongoing reporting, campaign insights and pacing toward goal to stakeholders
- Other responsibilities as assigned by your leaders
What you will bring to the table
- 5+ years of experience and proven track record in B2B marketing with a focus on account-based marketing and sales, with at least 2 years of SaaS/Cloud application experience
- 5+ years of experience with marketing automation, CRM, and other marketing tools and technologies to support ABM efforts.
- 5+ years of experience in managing projects (multiple projects simultaneously), time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- 5+ years of experience with multi-touch attribution reporting
- Strong understanding of the SaaS/Cloud application market and the SMB and enterprise customer segments.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams
- Highly organized and efficient with the ability to develop and execute against an evolving plan
- Able to clearly communicate new ideas, products, and campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders
- Team player that is able to work both collaboratively and autonomously
- Must live in Arizona, California or Nevada
You will stand out if you also have
- Experience with Sales and Marketing in the healthcare sector, highly preferred
- Salesforce and/or Pardot experience is beneficial
- Background using sales enhancement tools such as DB and Discover.org
Additional details
- Location requirements: This primarily remote position is open to residents of Arizona, Nevada or Southern California.
- Travel requirements: Domestic air travel up to 10%
- Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time.
