The role of the Marketing Specialist is to execute the global marketing strategy for the Hydraulics and Emissions Product families within Donaldson's Mobile Solutions business vertical.  In partnership with the commercial and Global Product Director, the role will implement the marketing channel strategy and collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist to plan marketing campaigns to generate compelling and high-quality content for targeted accounts.  The candidate will also extend to assisting in the planning and coordination of regional marketing activities for other product families.

The position has a global scope, reports remotely to Global Marketing Director in USA and is based in our EMEA HQ in Leuven (Belgium), with the possibility to work 2 days a week from home.

This position is being filled as a maternity leave replacement. We offer a 6-month fix term contract though August at the latest.

Responsibilities:

  • Align with Commercial, Product Development and Engineering teams to develop marketing plans for campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Develop social media plans in collaboration with the Global Digital Marketing Specialist and coordinate execution.
  • Work with the team on trade shows, exhibition and conference opportunities as required, including the development of online events and materials such webinars and interactive content.
  • Analyze the reports on the performance of marketing campaigns and propose improvements.
  • Manage the development, production, and timeline of marketing collateral to support the sales Plan.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3 years minimum of proven experience in similar marketing roles.
  • Experience working for a B2B sales channel organization.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills (written and verbal.)
  • Well organized, self-driven with excellent attention to detail, and with good time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, Adobe Analytics, and market intelligence tools.
  • Proficiency in, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to contribute innovative ideas to marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-cultural and geographically dispersed teams.
