Position Summary:
This position is responsible for coordinating a wide variety of marketing operations and communication activities, with a focus on events, including conferences, trade shows, and curated AvaSure hosted events. This position is also responsible for creating content and communications for internal and external marketing programs, tracking, planning and coordinating key strategic and operational projects across the broader marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- Support planning and execution of simultaneous projects within time frame and budget.
- Manage, track and report out on the budget for a wide mix of marketing activities.
- Own end to end planning for a mix of complex, concurrent events.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and execute event strategy that meets company goals.
- Proactive approach to handling issues and troubleshooting any emerging issues.
- Use analytical skills for post event analysis to measure results of event ROI and effectiveness.
- Research skills to identify event opportunities, understand the market, and generate interest.
- Develop and execute pre, on-site and post social media plan with Marketing team.
- Work with external contractors to support event and related promotional activities.
- Contribute to content on all AvaSure social media channels (AvaSure.com, Facebook, LinkedIn, & YouTube).
- Create compelling copywriting and edit content for various marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with various teams within the organization to meet marketing objectives and ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Stay updated with the latest market research, trends, and tools in digital marketing and make proactive recommendations for improvement.

Education & Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing or a relevant field is required.
- Experience working in the healthcare and/or technology industry preferred.
- Experience with event software and online registration tools, such as Cvent preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
- Highly proficient in MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in LinkedIn, Facebook & YouTube is preferred.
- Not required, but a plus: creative suite skills, social media acumen.
- Proficient in applying generative AI to enhance strategic planning, develop marketing frameworks, and produce high-quality, targeted messaging.
Physical Demands & Working Environment:
- Must be able to sit for much of the workday with periodic walking and/or standing.
- Must be able to set up events, including lifting tables and chairs.
- Must be able to work in an office or home office environment.
- Must be able to travel to national overnight events by plane, estimated travel for this role is up to 50%
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $54,000 per year.
- Bonus/Commission Eligibility: Yes, bonus eligible for non-sales roles.
