Marketing Operations Manager (US, Remote)

We're seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Marketing Operations Manager to join our remote team. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for the execution and optimization of our marketing automation systems, campaign management, and data governance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and consistently follow through on commitments.

This position comes at an exciting time as we transition from Marketo to HubSpot, offering the opportunity to help shape our marketing technology ecosystem for the future.



Key Responsibilities



Campaign Execution & Management

  • Build, test, and deploy marketing campaigns including landing pages, forms, and email sequences
  • Ensure flawless execution of marketing initiatives by maintaining rigorous quality assurance processes
  • Collaborate with content and demand generation teams to implement effective campaign workflows
  • Track and report on campaign performance metrics and provide insights for optimization



Marketing Technology & Operations

  • Lead our migration from Marketo to HubSpot, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption
  • Establish and maintain best practices for our marketing automation platforms
  • Configure and optimize marketing automation workflows, scoring models, and segmentation
  • Ensure systems are properly integrated and data flows correctly between platforms



Data Governance & Management

  • Maintain data integrity across marketing systems with a focus on cleanliness and compliance
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies to maintain database health
  • Monitor and reduce opt-out rates, sync errors, and other data quality issues
  • Collaborate with RevOps to troubleshoot integration issues between marketing and sales systems



Reporting & Analytics

  • Create and maintain marketing dashboards and reports that track KPIs
  • Provide regular analysis of campaign performance, email analytics, and inbound metrics
  • Use data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
  • Support the team in making data-driven decisions



Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with RevOps on functional requirements, system integrations, and process improvements
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders across the organization
  • Document processes, systems, and workflows to ensure knowledge transfer and operational consistency
  • Proactively identify and solve problems before they impact campaign performance



Qualifications



Required

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations or campaign management roles
  • Strong proficiency with HubSpot and Marketo; experience migrating between marketing automation platforms
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its integration with marketing automation tools
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment



Preferred

  • HubSpot certifications (Marketing Software, Email Marketing, etc.)
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data manipulation languages
  • Experience with marketing compliance regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
