The Role

Cox is diversifying and growing industry-leading businesses in new categories like Controlled Environmental Agriculture, Cleantech, Govtech and Healthtech to help build a better world for the next generation.

You'll focus on integrated marketing planning, campaign development and execution for Cox Farms and Cox Cleantech. You'll venture into new territories and produce work that's both on time and on strategy.
More specifically, you'll:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans supporting Cox's growth & diversification businesses
  • Research and develop content marketing strategies for the businesses you're supporting
  • Develop media strategies and partner with media buyers to evaluate/place
  • Plan and track budgets supporting marketing plans and tactics
  • Write compelling creative briefs, and steward creative ideas through development, testing and performance
  • Monitor competitive research and develop insights for Sustainable Agriculture, Cleantech, Govtech and Healthtech industries
  • Share creative campaigns with stakeholders and partners for input, feedback and approval
  • Steward brand marks and guidelines across touchpoints ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to report on the performance of web, digital and social campaigns; using data to validate performance and tell the story
  • Develop monthly, quarterly and annual reports that are straightforward but informative
  • Collaborate with partners in creative, marketing, communications, corporate social responsibility, strategy and more

Exercising both confidence and tact, you're an efficient communicator who stays focused on the "why." You want to do world-changing work in a fail-safe environment. Here's what else you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience crafting and executing integrated brand marketing strategy (ideally for brands in the Cleantech or Sustainable Agriculture space). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable experience working with internal and external creative teams.



  • Degree in marketing, communications, environmental science or sustainability.
  • Fluency in creative briefing and campaign development from start to finish.
  • Proficiency with analyzing data, making sense of metrics and generating campaign reports.
  • Marketing experience with purpose-driven brands.
  • Brand research and reporting experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of brand marketing, brand stewardship and emerging digital brand innovation.
  • Experience running medium to large scale projects in a matrixed environment.



USD 97,100.00 - 161,800.00 per year

Compensation includes a base salary of $97,100.00 - $161,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
