The Opportunity
This is an initial 13-month contract, commencing early January 2026.
Botany Town Centre is situated in the heart of East Auckland. It is a vibrant hub; a true town centre providing a range of quality retail, dining, lifestyle, and entertainment options to the local area.
The centre has a strong fashion offer and is anchored by Farmers department store, New World supermarket and Hoyts cinemas. It is augmented by a comprehensive range of everyday services, including medical, health and wellness, banks, library and childcare centre. Also, compromising several education institutions and considerable commercial space, its mixed usage attracts a diverse customer base.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive is responsible for developing, managing and delivering the centre’s marketing campaigns and communications with a focus on driving centre traffic and retail sales. This is a role with lots of variety, allowing you to leverage your digital, marketing and retailer skills, bringing campaigns to life by driving and delivering:
- Campaigns & Events
- Digital & Brand Marketing
- Website Management
- Retailer Engagement
- Customer Experience
- Timely Management of Financials, including Budgets and raising of Purchase Orders
About You
- You are a dynamic and driven marketing professional with a minimum of two years’ experience in retail marketing, events, or customer experience—ideally within a shopping centre environment.
- You will bring a strong understanding of consumer behaviour, a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, and a proven ability to manage end-to-end marketing campaigns.
- With a solid grasp of digital marketing tools and channels, you’re confident in using data to understand customer needs and champion the voice of the customer throughout marketing delivery. You’ll be a natural communicator—both written and verbal—with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience and knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager, Hootsuite, Canva, and Humanitix packages is advantageous, however not essential.
