The Trust and Custody Support Services team supports UMB’s Corporate Trust and Institutional Custody team by settling client’s security trades. The team actively monitors trades throughout the trade process and researches any trade settlement issues that could prevent timely trade settlement.
As the Shared Services Operations Team Manager I, you will provide supervision for the daily operation activity. You will also ensure the staff is properly developed to carry out their daily responsibilities and effectively service business partner. This role is hybrid for candidates in the Kansas City area.
How you will spend your time:
- Managing associates that interface with different depository (DTC), the Fed, and Browns Brother-Harriman (BBH) to settle trades bought on the market
- Managing associates to make sure trades are settled daily
- Interact with associates through formal and informal means to develop a productive, and engaged work force
- Develop controls which reduce risk to the organization
- Provide high level of expertise to business partners
- Other duties as assigned

- You have acquired an Associate’s Degree
- 5 years of experience in bank operations
- 3 years of experience with leading a banking operations team
Compensation Range:
Minimum: $51,480.00 - Maximum: $119,200.00
