As Manager Warehouse at Micron, you will be responsible for providing leadership to enable the error-free handling and distribution of physical goods /raw material for both internal and external traffic requirements. You will provide leadership to systematically enable error-free receiving, packaging, inventory, and management of raw material and tools/spares. In collaboration with the Procurement, Business Operations, Finance and Sales departments, you will help formulate and implement budgets and policies based on company strategies. Working closely with other departments and suppliers, you will help to ensure that customer requirements are met while maintaining product and service quality and consistency. Duties will also include leading and staffing goals and supervising other team leads and staff, establishing and communicating department goals, monitoring overall performance and working with Logistics and Finish Goods department to follow compliance.
Responsibilities and Tasks-:
Provide leadership of Warehouse
- Participate in strategy development with the Management team
- Ensure that policies and procedures are created, maintained, and followed
- Administer systems to ensure error-free shipments
- Connect with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Tax, and Logistics departments to meet customer and compliance requirements
Management of ASRS
- Ensure proper stock management using ASRS
Lead fiscal affairs
- Ensure that controls are in place and are SOX compliant
- Lead the warehouse budget
- Lead Import/Export reporting with Customs.
- Lead new Bonded and External Warehouse.
Oversee Warehouse integration activities
- Collaborate with the Business Operations, Finance, and Sales departments to establish sustainable systems strategies
- Lead the warehousing of Equipment & manage Movers to ensure Machines are carefully placed in the production floor
Lead all aspects of the Performance Management of the Warehouse
- Lead staff meetings, department meetings, and department communications
- Lead organizational structure, staffing, and culture within the Warehouse departments
- Supervise staff through coaching and succession planning
- Lead performance of direct report and that of the overall team while providing learning and growth opportunities.
Site Process Steward
Serve as the point of contact for process related activities and communications for a given Site Managed [SM] or Site Managed Plus (SM+) locations, including supported sites. Accountable for organizing and hosting business process review and for demonstrating compliance for the applicable process. Responsibilities include-:
* Is an active member in business process review and improvement discussions among the site(s) and the System Level Process team.
* Responsible for introducing standard methods and deploying standard tools to their site(s).
* Accountable for organizing site business process review and demonstrating compliance to standards.
* Accountable to communicate timely on major changes of the process or where there are presence of non-conformities or new CSRs, etc and identify the need to conduct additional Site Level Business Process Reviews.
* Act as the point of contact for bi-directional process communication (between System Level Process Owner and local site(s)).
* Develop and maintain site(s) specific process artifacts
* Report process performance to site management.
* Work with the System Level Process owner to manage site(s) level risk, including use of the Qmsrm App as required.
* Maintain local procedure, workflow, and checklists as job aids for the performers.
* Lead Deployment of customer requirements as defined and approved by the process owner.
* Responsible for deployment of customer requirements at respective site as agreed and approved by the SLPO
Education Desired: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in-:
- Supply Chain Management
- Engineering/Manufacturing
- Operations Management (OM)
- Related field of study Support and give to developing, modifying, and implementing company policies
Experience Desired: 05-10 years' experience in most of the following-:
- Warehouse ASRS management
- Warehouse/Inventory Control

Skills Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering/Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and operations management
- Experience managing ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems)
- Experience with order fulfillment, logistics, and import/export reporting with Customs
- Experience leading budgets, fiscal controls, and SOX-compliant processes
- Management and leadership experience including staffing, performance management, coaching and succession planning
- Experience deploying site-level process standards, business process reviews, and QMS/risk tools (e.g., Qmsrm App)
- Experience managing bonded/external warehouses and coordinating equipment moves to production
