- Support Inbound and Direct-to-Customer Supply Chain optimization through partnership and leadership initiatives
- Drive the development and execution of a clear, manageable strategy, including industry leading metrics and SOPs
- Additional responsibilities include carrier, 3PL and freight forwarder relationships
- Lead all aspects of day-to-day activities, on-time service and productivity of the inbound and inside delivery service providers across North America(US and CA)
- Responsibilities for Canada cross-border shipments (Partner with GTC, customs brokerage, documentation accuracy) and ensure adherence to applicable regulations and GDP.
- Support Transportation RFPs alongside the Corporate Transportation team
- Responsible for metric creation/management for Operations
- Reduce inbound costs through order leveling, consolidation, and service level selection
- Improve routing guide compliance for all vendors and work with FAP partner to reduce invoice exceptions
- Be the “face of Supply Chain” with vendors/customers and internal business partners through consistent support and communication
- Accountable for annual budget of $135 million in Transportation spend
- Drive productivity through creating efficiency and optimizing execution
- Develop the team through 1 on 1s, team building, stretch opportunities, and servant leadership
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Continuous improvement mentality, resolving differences in difficult situations and leading change from “how it is” to “how it should be”
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 7+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of Supply Chain operations and applicable regulations.
- Effectiveness in Microsoft Office and computing in general. Knowledge of data base principles and ability to formulate and complete required queries. Experience with SQL Server a plus.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams
- Contract negotiation, metric creation and monitoring, and SOP development experience, including leading 3rd party performance
