Responsibilities
Provides leadership as a member of the Testing team, contributing to the successful delivery of testing engagements.
Applies established testing methodologies to analyze testing requirements and define effective testing scenarios aligned to the appropriate test levels within projects.
Oversees the design of comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to ensure full compliance with functional and non-functional requirements as defined in business and technical specifications.
Leads and supports the development of key testing deliverables, including Test Plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
Analyzes testing outcomes, identifies risks and issues, and recommends corrective actions and improvement opportunities.
Ensures accurate definition, collection, and organization of testing requirements, working closely with project stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of the business context, technical environment, and acceptance criteria.
Drives the effective adoption and use of automated testing tools and processes, maintaining awareness of emerging tools, techniques, and industry trends. Actively supports knowledge sharing and continuous improvement by contributing to testing forums, communities of practice, and the enhancement of testing assets through lessons learned.
Education and Experience
Typically holds a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience, with several years of progressive experience in software testing and quality assurance, or a Master’s degree with relevant industry experience.
Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrates extensive experience delivering testing services across projects of varying size and complexity.
Possesses a strong understanding of testing and development methodologies and their interaction across the software development lifecycle.
Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
Applies deep expertise in requirements analysis, solution design, and testing strategy to perform ambiguity and risk analysis, define testing scope and priorities, develop and review testing strategies and plans, validate requirements and specifications, and establish testing metrics.
Leads test analysis and design activities, including the development and validation of functional and performance models, test specifications, and testing coverage.
Exhibits strong proficiency in testing tools and processes to execute and manage test activities, analyze and report results, facilitate defect resolution, and ensure accurate documentation of outcomes.
