The Role

Our team builds premier immersive digital experiences for the Company's world-class vacation brands including Disney's Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club
We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including MyDisneyExperience and Hey, Disney!
As part of the Emerging Tech team, the Manager serves a critical role leading a team of engineers to develop and test key initiatives in AI, ML, and CV. This role will help drive the organization's strategy and craft the future technology roadmaps for the Tech & Digital business.
You will report to Director-Technology.
You Have:

  • Proven experience in delivering AI/CV/ML solutions
  • Experience leading engineers building POCs and pilots in AI/CV/ML that have advanced to production products
  • Experience negotiating and managing vendor relationships
  • Experience designing cloud and on prem architecture and implementing best practices in security, cost, speed, data storage, and efficiency
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience growing and leading engineers
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to interface across the organization, including Executives
  • Build a strong culture of best practices and standards to guide other teams as they incorporate new technologies
  • Technical exposure with the latest emerging technologies platforms, tools, and techniques
  • Experience working in the hospitality, travel, or entertainment industry, is preferred
  • Minimum of 8+ years of related work experience


Required Education:

  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study


Preferred Education:

  • Master's degree and/or equivalent work experience
