Who are we hiring?

Sphere is looking for a Project Manager to oversee Art and Promo projects related to the Exterior display of the Sphere (The Exosphere) and be responsible for managing and tracking multiple projects in design from bidding through final delivery. The Project Manager will interface cross-departmentally with creative, post-production, Comms, Social, Product, and executive leadership to deliver on culturally relevant exosphere moments. As the creative content hub for MSG Sphere projects, we strive for the best content creation, delivering content that has never been witnessed before on displays that have never been seen in this scale.

What will you do? 

  • Primary function and activities include planning, organizing, and seeing scheduled Exosphere projects to on-time completion with an eye to timelines, resource needs, deliverables and scope. 
  • Management of Sphere Art + Promo exosphere content creative concepting, design, and production.
  • Managing a team of Creative leads to ideate, concept and execute Sphere Exosphere projects. 
  • Liaise with internal post-production team on Exosphere project execution and delivery process to venue. 
  • Keep projects on course as succinctly and efficiently as possible, relaying appropriate feedback and questions to relevant stakeholders, generating and maintain meeting minutes and deliverables
  • Create, maintain, internal databases, distribute project documentation to internal and executive facing teams. 
  • Effective and frequent communication to project sponsors, resources and management around project status, scope, and timeline. 

What do you need to succeed? 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with ease. 
  • Well versed in project management methodologies, and tools, and have a demonstrated knowledge of when to apply them. 
  • Proficient in the following:  Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office 360, with Airtable being a bonus
  • Experience developing, managing, and deploying project management frameworks to facilitate shared technical and creative goals across the organization. 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and senior management. 
  • Prior experience in another business function within the media and entertainment space is a plus. 
  • BA/BS in related field or equivalent practical experience; advanced education is a plus. 
  • Self-motivated and able to anticipate stakeholder needs and stay ahead of potential issues. 
  • Seasoned professional able to work calmly under pressure and/or challenging conditions.

  • The Sphere is seeking applicants local to Los Angeles with the expectation of working on site in our Burbank location.

Pay Range

$107,000$155,000 USD
