Position Summary
As part of MGCC Transformation team, create an impact for MetLife Global Capability Center (MGCC) by improving efficiency in the processes through automation (leveraging Power Platform), and effectiveness leveraging Six Sigma and Lean principles
Job Responsibilities
As part of the MGCC Transformation team, deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Effective customer engagement:
- Understand current process flow, identify automation and other improvement opportunities
- Elicit, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements
- Track and report project progress, benefits realization, and ROI to stakeholders
- Automation leveraging Power Platform capabilities:
- Produce wireframes, data models, and solution architecture
- Build model-driven and canvas apps in Power Apps
- Develop automated workflows in Power Automate
- Implement role-based access and environment governance.
- Building analytics and reporting capabilities:
- Designing data models and interactive dashboards in Power BI as well as ensuring data quality and semantic consistency.
- Using advanced Excel (advanced formulas) and Power Query to develop robust solutions
- Quality assurance - Define test plans and acceptance criteria; perform unit, system, and UAT; remediate defects; ensure performance and reliability.
- Deployment and DevOps - Package and deploy across environments, adhere to change management and release processes.
- Support and lifecycle management - Provide Hypercare, monitor usage and performance, manage backlog, and implement continuous improvements.
- Risk, compliance, and security - Enforce data privacy, access controls, auditability, and platform governance; follow enterprise standards and best practices.
- Documentation and training - Produce solution design docs, SOPs, runbooks, and user guides; conduct knowledge transfer and user enablement.
- Use Six Sigma and Lean methodologies enhance effectiveness by removing errors and output variability
