Our Manager of Pharmacy Services go above and beyond. From managing high-performing pharmacy care teams to the implementation, monitoring, evaluating, and coordinating of clinical and operation pharmacy services. This job has it all. It requires a special skill set that can optimize the performance of all pharmacy services, develop standards, manage inventory, standardize processes, influence change management and manage labor.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Assume leadership position to ensure seamless quality pharmacy centered care throughout the health-illness continuum.
Actively participate and lead initiatives to improve patient and hospital operations.
Integrate current knowledge of all areas of responsibility and management theories and concepts into the practice environment.
Obtain and manage human, financial and physical resources; develop and maintains budgets; provide overall management of human resources within areas of responsibility.
Ensure the exchange of information (written and verbal) and ideas is timely, effective, and respectful.
Manage a team of locally based pharmacy personnel in order to achieve consistently high levels of performance meeting operational and clinical key processes indicators.
Responsible for communications within pharmacy operations community throughout the hospital, to ensure medication management information is shared for effective operations.
Serve on various committees as requested and represents pharmacy services in planning, communication, and decision-making discussions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree BSPharm - Required
Doctorate PharmD - Preferred
Master's Degree BSPharm - Preferred
3 years progressive hospital pharmacy practice experience with documented success in a hospital or integrated healthcare system, managed care, and/or hospital environment with broad clinical, operational, and regulatory practical experience - Required
Registered Pharmacist (RPh) - State Licensing Board - Required
