Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Business Analyst Manager to lead system enhancements with our Life Administration function, with focus on regulatory and compliance related changes.
The role is to work with Life Administration users and IT to prepare user requirements, review and comment functional specifications, lead UAT , support implementation and manage production issues.
In addition to business analysis skills, the candidate should be proactive, collaborative, able to work under pressure and with very good understanding of Life Insurance’s policy servicing function and processes
The Job
Collaborate with different departments e.g. Compliance, Legal, Risk, IT, and Product teams to interpret regulatory changes and translate them into system and process requirements
Drive end-to-end business analysis to identify system, procedural and process change
Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses to ensure policy administration processes meet expectations
Define and document business requirements, user stories, and test cases for system enhancements
Participate in the solution design with IT; ensure the objectives of the change is met
Oversee UAT planning and execution to ensure features are implemented accurately and efficiently
Support production implementation; conduct health check with users and manage production issues
Provide subject matter expertise and training to operational teams on new system features
The Person
Bachelor’s degree holder of Business Administration, Information Systems or related fields.
Minimum of 8 years’ business analysis experience in Life Insurance industry with at least 1 year in a managerial role
Strong understanding of life insurance policy administration systems and regulatory framework
Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies for software development and project management.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Proven experience in managing compliance-related system enhancements or operations’ projects
Ability to lead users and deliver results in a fast-paced, regulated environment
