The position of Manager, Digital Marketplace would be responsible for managing the development, implementation and acceleration of Kate Spade's focus on digital marketplaces. You will ensure that Kate Spade's touchpoints online through platform and advertising will support growth while providing a best-in-class customer journey representative of the overarching brand vision. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, and capable of influencing key stakeholders to support ongoing business initiatives.   • Oversee the long-term growth strategy of Kate Spade's Digital marketplace business specific to Amazon, ensuring alignment with the overall North America, E-Commerce, and Digital Media Strategy
  • Manage critical aspects of the online platform business including site merchandising, content development, and website performance to ensure clear and consistent brand message as well as a seamless customer journey and user experience
  • Oversee daily operations of a Brand Store to ensure a best-in-class e-commerce experience with a focus on driving revenue & KPI growth while consistently increasing brand value to users
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal cross-functional teams, marketplace vendors and external agencies to align on marketplace goals and deliver results
  • Leverage customer, product, and site performance data to enhance the customer experience and strategic direction and identify opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Analyze advertising campaign metrics to develop short- and long-term actionable items to improve and optimize business KPIs
  • Collaborate with brand marketing and creative teams both in-house and with partner agencies to develop content that best represents the Kate Spade brand, promotes key initiatives, drives top-line sales, and engages in key beta test opportunities
  • Develop and manage the media investment strategy and budget for digital business, ensuring efficient use of resources to drive acquisition, ROAS and conversion
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, and best practices, and research new technologies to constantly improve site performance
  • Strong understanding of the Amazon marketplace is a plus


The accomplished individual will possess...

  • 4+ years of professional experience, preferably in E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, or multichannel retail management
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Digital Marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, Poshmark, Ebay, etc.)
  • Strong ability to develop and execute strategic business plans, and ability to present to and influence across multiple business units
  • Data driven with ability to leverage analytics to provide insights and strategic recommendations
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage several projects with minimal oversight
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data to drive insights and decision-making
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to recommend innovative approaches to business initiatives and operational challenges
