Your Role at impact.com:

Partnerships are at the heart of impact.com - not just enabling thousands of brands to develop their own partnerships, but making sure we are a leading partner in our own right. The impact.com Agency Partnerships team works with hundreds of agencies to source new business and to ensure impact.com clients are supported by a full ecosystem. The team is cross-organizational in nature, working closely with sales, product, success, marketing, legal, and more.

Channel Partner Managers (CPMs) on the agency team are responsible for building long-term, mutually beneficial, business relationships with marketing agency partners. Agency partners are responsible for a substantial portion of impact.com’s growth and success, and this vital team is the driver of those partnerships.

As a Manager, Channel Partnerships on our agency team, you will lead a team tasked with recruiting new agencies into our ecosystem with the goal of making them long-term productive partners. Using strong consultative skills, you and your team will work with partners to dissect their business goals and coach your partners on how to grow their business with impact.com. You will guide agencies in learning how impact.com can help them improve their client acquisition rates, client retention rates, and overall business profitability. Success in this vital role requires you to balance salesmanship, business development, account management, relationship-building, education, and more.

The ideal candidate will balance creativity, action-orientation, and a propensity for experimentation and iteration with thoughtful team and process building. You will work to develop the skills of the individual contributors reporting to you, run 1:1s, manage performance, and help to get the best out of your team. You will ideate and execute on new strategies along with your team. This is a mixed role where you will operate as a people manager and also an individual contributor, working with partners of your own.

A successful candidate has a proven track-record of success in channel partnerships, is energetic, curious, tenacious, highly motivated, organized, a natural networker, and an excellent consultative seller. You’re not afraid of goals, and thrive when talking to people, selling them things you believe in. You should be tech-savvy, and comfortable explaining complex concepts. The best candidates will have a strong understanding of performance marketing and the role agencies play in driving growth for their clients.

This role reports to the VP of Channel Partnerships and is a part of the larger Channel Partnerships team which is responsible for the success of all of impact.com’s Channel Partners (agencies, technology partners, referral partners, and others).

Impact was founded in 2008 by a team of Internet marketing and technology experts who previously founded Commission Junction, Savings.com and LeadPoint.
