What You’ll Do

The LTL Pricing Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the transition of Legacy Clients from Legacy Systems into Ascent New TMS and to assist in the onboarding of new clients into Ascent systems. This individual will work closely with coworkers in Pricing, Sales, Client Services and Operations to meet pre-established goals.

• Draft and track client proposals and contracts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Assist in onboarding clients into organizational TMS platforms.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and IT vendors to support the implementation and maintenance of carriers and customers in Ascent’s TMS.
• Collaborate with carriers to ensure required client setups for EDI/API implementation are completed timely and accurately.
• Cross-train with other department members to ensure team flexibility and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in the loading, verification, and maintenance of carrier and customer pricing within Ascent’s TMS.
• Work with the Manager of LTL Contract Management TMS to identify and implement enhancement and process improvement opportunities.
• Prepare complex custom reports using proprietary tools, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office products as requested.
• Operate independently, using sound judgment to achieve objectives while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
• Coordinate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of all duties and responsibilities.
• Build strong partnerships and relationships with organizational leaders and their teams.
• Support corporate initiatives and reporting projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

What You’ll Bring

• 3 years related Transportation / Logistics experience or bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred. 
• Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines, set and execute priorities effectively, and simplify complex processes and requests in order to thrive when managing ambiguity
• Language Skills: Relies on written and verbal communication.  Able to respond to verbal and written inquiries. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse groups of constituents, including directors, peers, and staff members, and to present to peers and management.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Specific Skills:  Must possess a current valid driver’s license. Involves a high degree of responsibility for working with, safeguarding and controlling highly restricted information, knowledge or important confidences and criterion related to research and development of customer data, future-plans, policies, business prospects, finances, etc. the release of which could have a detrimental effect and impact on the company’s affairs or undermine its competitive position. Must be self-motivated, able to maintain confidentiality, honest, friendly, punctual, and organized, have a positive attitude and be able to work unsupervised.
• Reasoning Ability:  Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000
