Eaton is currently seeking a Specialist, Legal Entity Simplification to join our team in Beachwood, OH.

Position Overview:

Eaton is a power management company made up of over 92,000 employees, doing business in more than 175 countries. The Legal Entity Simplification (LES) team is responsible for leading projects to simplification Eaton's legal structure. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting multifunctional global teams in the rationalization of the Eaton organizational structure to both reduce costs and improve operational efficiencies. Projects typically run 3-9 months depending on complexity. Each team member typically is running 3-5 projects concurrently.

In this role you will:

• Coordinates the evaluation and prioritization of projects based on cost / benefit analyses
• Assists regional tax teams in preparing detailed step plans
• Assists functions in performing project due diligence
• Manages and leads team meetings and identification of all required tasks across functions
• Drives project to completion by engaging all appropriate resources and facilitating resolution of issues encountered
• Manages LES budget
• Ensures all Legal, HR, US GAAP, local statutory, and tax requirements are met under final structure
• Maintains repository of support documentation
• Provides support for subsequent audits/ inquiries
• Builds sustainable processes incorporating learnings for subsequent projects
• Develops communications to senior management and stakeholders on status of projects
• (Projects require engagement from Tax, Accounting, Legal, Human Resources, Systems (IT), Treasury, and Global Trade Management personnel globally)

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• 5+ years' professional experience in Tax, Accounting, Legal, IT, Treasury, Operations Finance
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics from an accredited institution
• Legal Entity Simplification project knowledge
