About the Team:

This is a unique opportunity to join Zoom's Product Legal team specifically supporting the Zoom Phone team. Zoom Phone team is part of the Product Legal team supporting the expansion of the Zoom Phone product. This is an innovative and rapidly growing team, with focus on delivering happiness through practical, business-savvy, legally sound proactive guidance.

About the Role:

In this role, you will:

• be primary responsible for supporting delivery of (i) market expansion and new programs globally, (ii) sales channel/geo expansion programs, (iii) compliance programs for such strategies, and (iv) processes to address customer questions. 
• work with a talented team of lawyers on interesting and complex legal/regulatory issues as we support go-to-market programs for our highly scalable, compliant, secure, and competitive global telephony and messaging service, which delivers delightful communications experiences to our customers around the world. 
• Support tracking of impact and requirements of current and future regional laws and regulations related to Zoom Phone and assist with advising on regulations early in the program lifecycle to speed development and ensure compliance. 
• Maintain compliance programs for use by business teams with an eye to assisting business and external partners in rapid deployment of Zoom Phone.
• Develop and maintain processes to support “legal team at scale”.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of experience as a paralegal providing support in a complex environment.
• Fastidious attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams, build consensus among stakeholders and maintain strong relations at all levels across the organization.
• Ability to understand business objectives and then explain complex regulatory requirements and legal issues in straight-forward terms for the business and customers. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to tolerate change and ambiguity.
• Ability and drive to take ownership of projects and tasks with openness to adapting in response to a fluid and expanding business environment.
