Job Description

  • Review, draft and provide counsel on marketing, advertising and creative materials including, but not limited to, print advertising, digital/social media campaigns and content, in-store activations, influencer marketing campaigns
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements with external partners, vendors (IT, SaaS, services, MSAs)
  • Draft, review and negotiate brand partner agreements (concession, shop-in-shop)
  • Craft, develop and maintain processes, playbooks, workflows, and trainings for a variety of contracting activities
  • Assist with certain legal operations for legal department systems (i.e. document storage, template management, workflows, contract and legal matter management systems) and automation across contract and other legal matters
  • Advise on regulatory, governmental and compliance matters (e.g., data privacy, FTC, FDA, Prop 65, DOJ)
  • Support growth initiatives relating to new technology
  • Provide education and training on relevant legal issues and develop processes and best practices to support business needs and generate efficiencies


This is a great opportunity for an attorney or contract negotiator who seeks significant responsibilities across a range of legal matters, enjoys working closely and often cross-functionally with a broad spectrum of internal clients, and wants to play a meaningful role in building strong and scalable legal operations for a first in class retailer. This is a "generalist" role, with an emphasis on commercial, marketing and regulatory work.

Requirements: JD and at least 1 - 3 years of experience in the relevant areas. Will also consider contract negotiators with significant experience in the areas above.
