Hims & Hers is looking for an outstanding, solution-driven Privacy Counsel to join our growing Legal & Public Policy team. You will take point on privacy compliance, with the opportunity to take ownership of material projects in a high-growth, collaborative company. You will work closely with teams across the business to maintain our privacy commitments, help solve interesting problems, and shape legislative and policy efforts.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the Hims & Hers privacy program, including the implementation and updating of privacy policies and procedures, workforce training, and monitoring/auditing activities
Advise cross-functional teams across the business on broad variety of privacy issues and practical privacy considerations
Lead our privacy compliance efforts under international, federal and state laws, including CCPA, CPRA, HIPAA, CMIA, and GDPR
Assist in developing and implementing privacy incident response plans
Help inform and shape the company’s legislative efforts
Requirements:
Extensive experience with federal and California privacy laws and regulations in the context of technology and/or e-commerce companies, including with respect to digital marketing, online consumer experience, and product building
Strong record of providing solution-focused advice
Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude
Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
JD from top law school
4+ years privacy experience
Healthcare experience preferred but not required
