We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Paralegal to join our Legal team. As a Paralegal, you’ll work with Legal to support Reddit’s Product, Marketing, and Business Development teams on a wide variety of projects. This will require excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and drive legal operations throughout Reddit. - Reddit U.S. offices: SF, LA, Chicago, NYC, or remotely within the United States.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop processes to help Legal function smoothly and efficiently, including helping to build, maintain, and scale Legal’s project management process and knowledge management system
- Manage and maintain case files and corporate files
- Update and maintain templates, playbooks, and guidelines based on laws, rules, and regulatory guidance
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and handling license agreements, service agreements, NDAs, and other transactional documents as needed
- Assist with handling disputes regarding trademarks, copyright, DMCA, and any other litigation matter
- Interface with legal tools for managing domains, trademarks, patents, and other IP
What We Can Expect From You:
- 3-8 years of experience providing paralegal support at a technology company legal department
- B.A./B.S. or relevant advanced degree
- Enthusiasm and passion for technology, law, and business
- Comfortable handling chaos and ability to thrive in a team environment
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Google and Microsoft applications with experience developing spreadsheets, managing large amounts of data, and digital files
- Experience with a variety of software tools, including contracts administration and IP management (litigation management experience, a plus)
- Expertise building out new processes and integrating new technologies
- Eagerness and drive to continue learning
- Sense of humor
