JOB SUMMARY
Provides support to attorneys by performing a broad range of paralegal functions including contract review and negotiation, contract history research and fact gathering, legal and corporate research and analysis, and special projects.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Investigates and documents the legal and factual support and background relevant to transactions, contracts, contract interpretation and contractual disputes, including file organization and preparation of memoranda and other documents
- Reviews and drafts legal documents, correspondence and other materials requiring knowledge of legal terminology and document formats
- Organizes and tracks transaction files, including research, correspondence, and/or contract documents
- Assigns matters, organizes, and serves as point of contact for assignments, due diligence, contracts, or projects
- Resolves routine legal issues under direction of supervising attorney
- Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, precedent, articles, codes and other legal resources
- Creates, organizes, and maintains databases
- Serves as liaison for internal clients, law firms, and vendors
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills /Abilities and Knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft software (e.g., Word, Excel, and SharePoint)

Education
Paralegal certification or equivalent work experience
