Legal Operations Manager
Overview
We are looking for a Legal Operations Manager to join Recharge’s in-house legal team. The right person will be the organizational and administrative force of the team. In addition to owning certain projects and workstreams, you will also be responsible for providing wide-ranging support to the legal team as well as a variety of internal business partners. You should be organized, comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have the ability to manage and own a wide range of projects.

- Partner with various stakeholders in the company to help drive business outcomes
- Provide general administrative support to the legal team
- Manage domestic and international subsidiaries
- Work cross functionally with internal business partners on issues and requests
- Coordinate and monitor the legal team’s budget and budget performance
- Manage corporate documentation, including document and contract repository
- Develop resources and tools for internal stakeholders to self-serve legal issues
- Manage outside counsel and vendor relationships
- Develop training resources and manuals for the legal team to use with business partners
- Manage requests for information and documents from internal and external stakeholders
- Actively participate in the legal team’s effort to support the Recharge’s growth by implementing systems, automation, processes, and procedures
- Manage ad hoc projects within the legal team
- Assist with other general legal support as needed
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Strong organizational, project management, and execution skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to interact effectively with various levels of staff and management in various departments
- Experience with technology tools such as Google Suite, Ironclad, SimpleLegal, Slack, DocuSign and Box
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a growing legal team and cross-functionally
- Detail oriented and driven to do things right
- Self motivated with a passion for taking ownership of your work and delivering outcomes
- Effective in a dynamic environment, adapting to and managing change in a positive and proactive manner
- A team player with a ‘winning as a team’ attitude
- Ability to work remote-first in a rapidly scaling organization
