Our Legal and Compliance team is looking for a Contracts Legal Assistant to work to support our corporate team with preparation and administration of contracts and related business/legal documents in support of proposals, sales and other business activities. This newly developed role will support the administration of commercial agreements including; preparation, tracking, routing, and filing of contracts and other necessary documents, such as letters of credit and non-disclosure agreements. This role will also assist our

Legal and Compliance team with general maintenance of other corporate records.

In this role you will:

• Track and execute the administrative flow and process for contracts in redlines/negotiation
• Update and brief Sr. Counsel on the status of all contracts
• Administration of the contract termination process
• Assist in the response to any contract requests (i.e. how many contracts include xyz)
• Report on all contracts in the redline process or under legal review
• Respond to requests for standard NDA templates for sales related activity
• Track and support NDAs related to sales activity through their lifecycle
• Coordinate with Services to ensure SOWs include all necessary contract elements 
• Manage the review and response process for internal contract requests
• Assist the Finance and Accounting team with tax and other business compliance notification
• Work with internal and external teams to ensure operations meet project deadlines
• Ensure accuracy of client deliverables

We are looking for:

• Minimum of 3 years experience working for a legal department of a corporation doing corporate contracts review
• Legal Assistant/Paralegal certificate or a bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is preferred; equivalent experience in lieu of certification or degree
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
• Salesforce experience is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required
• Meticulous attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
• Ability to stay highly organized when faced with tight timelines and competing priorities
• Comfortable collaborating with all levels of a professional organization
• A client-centric attitude, strong problem-solving skills and cooperative team focus
• Adaptable and can easily flex to changing needs
