We're looking for a talented contracts management specialist to join our growing legal team.  As the company’s first contracts manager, this role will help us build out core contract management functions at a rapidly growing tech company. What you’ll be doing 

  • Develop and implement scalable systems and processes pertaining to contract management - from intake, through execution, and end-of-life

  • Draft and review nondisclosure agreements, vendor agreements, and other legal documentation under the supervision of Alloy’s Senior Legal Counsel

  • Build and maintain legal workflows in Alloy’s contract management system, which includes: managing changes to workflows, managing cross functional collaboration in the contract management tool, and understanding how Alloy’s contract management system integrates with other business tools

  • Work closely with legal and non-legal stakeholders to ensure that Alloy’s contract standards, and processes for approvals and signatures are followed

  • Draft and improve existing forms and templates in collaboration with Alloy legal, sales, and finance teams

  • Implement controls to ensure that all deadlines and obligations described in contracts are satisfied

  • Ensure accurate data is entered and maintained in Alloy’s contracts management system

  • Train non-legal stakeholders on Alloy’s contracting process, including sales and marketing

  • Maintain and improve internal policies and processes relating to contract management

  • Identify and deploy technological solutions to increase efficiency, scale, and to improve data insights

  • Identify and launch projects to support company-wide goals and initiatives

  • Opportunity to become involved in Alloy’s vendor management program, including coordinating vendor contract review to evaluate vendor risk in accordance with Alloy’s policies and procedures

  • Opportunity to work closely with sales team as “go to” on negotiation playbook and other contract questions

  • We’re growing fast, so there is significant opportunity for growth in this role

Who we’re looking for

  • 4 years or more of proven experience in a paralegal, legal operations, or contracts manager role at a technology company (ideally a SaaS provider)

  • Experience negotiating nondisclosure agreements, vendor agreements; experience with SaaS agreements a plus

  • Experience managing contract management systems; experience with Ironclad and Salesforce a plus

  • Comfort with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment; ability to implement process changes with necessary stakeholders in a clear, timely, actionable manner

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing)

  • Team-player, ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Ability to work independently
