A position with the Legal Group for Nestle Purina PetCare Company in St. Louis, Missouri focuses on commercial contracts and other transactional matters. The successful candidate should be able to provide sound legal advice to Nestle Purina personnel on a day-to-day basis.
You will be responsible for a broad range of legal matters, interacting with internal business clients, negotiating with vendors, and accomplishing various legal tasks with moderate supervision.

Primary Responsibilities• Provide guidance and support to a broad range of legal areas that may include the following: general corporate matters, consulting, equipment procurement, raw materials and packaging procurement, real estate, construction, and other commercial transactions.• Prepare, review, and negotiate commercial agreements to support business operations.• Work with department colleagues to understand their subject matter expertise/perspective on relevant issues.• Directly engage with business clients to discuss transactions, transaction structures, typical approaches, relevant contractual clauses, and points of negotiation.• Provide training to internal business clients on relevant legal topics.

Basic Requirements• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school• License to practice law• 4+ years transactional and legal experience
