About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Commercial Counsel to join GoodRx’s Commercial Legal team. The Associate Commercial Counsel will be instrumental in keeping day-to-day operations and transactions moving quickly while protecting the company. We are looking for a business minded attorney to help support our fast-growing business and build for scale. Come join us in our mission to increase access to convenient and affordable healthcare.

The Associate Commercial Counsel will report to GoodRx’s Corporate Counsel.

Responsibilities

- Structure, draft, negotiate, and review a broad range of commercial agreements, including sales, marketing, and lease agreements

- Collaborate with and provide strategic and legal advice to various cross-functional teams, including but not limited to the Sales, Marketing, Human Resource, and Finance teams

- Develop and implement innovative ways to scale commercial legal processes

- Advise on various regulatory issues, including regulations related to state licensure requirements

- Handle ad-hoc projects across a spectrum of complex business, legal, and strategic issues

Skills & Qualifications

- JD from an accredited school and current member in good standing with the state bar

- 4+ years of relevant in-house and/or law firm experience advising digital and/or direct-to-consumer companies in the healthcare space

- Solid foundation in complex commercial contracts and the ability to identify and solve for potential legal and business issues present therein

- Substantial real estate experience

- Clear and concise communication skills to effectively collaborate and negotiate with both internal and external business and legal teams

- Great project management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and remain collected under pressure

- Willingness to learn new subject matters quickly and drive projects from start to finish

- Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and an enthusiasm for learning
