CNO Financial Group is hiring a Legal Compliance Analyst to be responsible for regulatory compliance across CNO’s Medicare Advantage, Colonial Penn, and marketing support centers of excellence. This role is instrumental in mitigating risk by managing complaint intake and documentation, reviewing advertising materials for compliance, supporting disciplinary processes, and responding to external inquiries. The analyst ensures efficient handling of correspondence, maintains organized records, and collaborates with stakeholders to uphold regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement.

As a Legal Compliance Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
Exercise independent judgment in managing incoming correspondence to shared email account by assessing urgency, relevance, and complexity, delegate tasks to appropriate team members, and maintain records for future reference and organizational needs.
Record complaint information, escalate matters, when necessary, monitor status, and ensure all required documentation is collected and stored appropriately.
Apply sound judgment in assisting with enforcing disciplinary measures for agents to effectively reduce recurring noncompliance.
Provide research and documentation to assist with responding to external inquiries, customer complaints, and stakeholder reporting.
Review and approve advertising materials to adhere with compliance standards.
The Legal Compliance Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:
Have strong written and oral communication skills.
Are proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Possess strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, including logic, problem solving, and decision making.
Can meet time-sensitive deadlines effectively.
Have skills in data analytics, regulatory research, and policy drafting, which are advantageous.
What you’ll need:
Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
1 year of experience in compliance and/or policyholder support.
What will set you apart:
Bachelor's Degree in Legal studies, healthcare administration, risk management
Certifications/Licenses: Paralegal, LOMA designation
Health insurance industry or Medicare experience.
Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours
