The Role

The Fragrances & Beauty division expresses its uniqueness through a promise: to reveal the beauty of every woman in her most distinctive way, through her fragrance, makeup, and skincare products.

The Export Fragrances & Beauty team ensures the market distribution of these products through a complex network spanning over 14 countries. It is the obsession with detail and the pursuit of perfection that transforms the encounter between CHANEL and its customers into a magical moment.

In alignment with the Export strategy and F&B Travel Retail and Local Market Learning priorities, the Europe Learning Partner and Fragrance Expert deliver educational initiatives to develop client-facing sales staff and the Local Market trainer’s community. These initiatives reinforce the CHANEL Differences at the point of sale and drive results. By staying connected to the field, they drive change through inspiration, role modeling, and training.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL

Trainer and Community partner: 

  • Adapt & execute trainings on:
  • -Hard skills (deep 3-axies expertise, strong knowledge on Fragrance)
  • Soft skills (art of emotional connection, art of relationship, client profiling)
  • Brand Awareness (Brand Mission, Brand Culture)
  • Actively participate in preparing and coordinating the Travel Retail Convention, Learning Events and TRSM meetings
  • Support & Animate kick-off events
  • Support Travel Retail Sales Managers by assisting them with their training activities when needed
  • Assesses training efficiency and provides suggestions to improve the impact and quality of the BC's learning experience (number of validated Fragrance Stylists, onboarding, learning events, TRC, online sessions test results on fragrance modules)
  • Engage and animate the ‘Fragrance Stylists’ Community for both TR and LM by transmitting client experience and excellence in services at POS
  • Support the Local Trainers by assisting them with implementing excellence of client experience @POS,
  • Transmit the Fragrance Culture and Expertise 
  • Partner for Europe & Global Education Team in Fragrance Expertise development

Partner for the business

  • Create Learning objectives in line with business priorities for each learning session
  • Regular feedback after field visits and onboarding sessions
  • Feedback to marketing and business teams on kick-offs and other learning activities

Field Coach/Mentor: 

  • Create & propose Floor visits calendar reflecting the business needs according to training strategy
  • Set floor visit targets for individual & teams’ improvement on:
  • Services menu implementation with no compromise on quality
  • Art of selling: cross-, link, up- sell, slow-movers, top-sellers
  • Art of relationship:  story making, how to build the loyalty to the Brand
  • Beauty Confident Posture
  • Product Knowledge applied to the client profiles
  • Inside Beauty KPI’s

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Your expertise, built on at least five years of experience in training and group animation, a strong background in cosmetics with essential fragrance expertise, fluency in both English and French, a solid grasp of digital trends and tools, and experience in the retail industry.
You bring strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage and inspire, a business- and performance-oriented mindset, as well as active listening, interviewing, and coaching skills.

As Export Learning Partner and Fragrance Expert you will play a crucial role in both driving CHANEL’s brand values and ensuring that the Export Learning Department achieves its goals by combining expertise in fragrance and beauty, a passion for relationship-building, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will empower beauty advisors, enhance the customer experience, and ultimately contribute to the success of CHANEL’s presence in Local and Travel Retail markets.
