Job DetailsWe currently have a truly outstanding opening for Lead Engineer - QA for Custom Platforms Team at our Bangalore office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of functional, automation, and performance testing efforts to ensure robust quality assurance.
- Act as a key contributor to QA project teams, ensuring compliance with established quality standards, best practices, and processes across the project lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough requirement analysis to develop comprehensive test scenarios and plans, ensuring all functional aspects are covered
Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's (BE/B.Tech) or Master's (ME/M.Tech/MS) degree in Computer Science or a related field with 6+ years of experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and with clients.
- Proficient in programming languages, with expertise in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Python (understanding of Pandas library)
- Hands-on experience with JMeter (Performance testing).
- Extensive experience in developing automation frameworks and test suites for automated testing.
- Solid understanding of core QA methodologies and principles.
- Skilled in utilizing tools such as Maven, TestNG, Selenium, JMeter, Azure DevOps, and Azure Boards for automation and project management.
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively at all organizational levels, including with external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage testing activities, collaborating effectively with the QA and development teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Develop clean, efficient, and high-quality scripts for testing functionality, ensuring reusability and scalability.
- Monitor and log issues or bugs in tracking systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure Boards), providing detailed documentation for timely resolution.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including development, and operations, to ensure alignment and a seamless testing process.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to propose innovative ideas and designs, contributing to the continuous improvement of features quality.
- Continuously improve test coverage and processes, leveraging feedback and metrics to optimize testing efficiency.
