Lead - 3D Modeler

Job Responsibilities:

• Create characters, sets, props and vehicles base on concept and designs
• Create high-end complex 3D models modeling within timely manner
• Advance knowledge on cloth modeling
• Intermediate knowledge on fur and hair creation
• Basic knowledge on mel-script and python
• Apply material and texture on geometry based on the design
• Create shaders as required by the design
• Collaborate with the modeling team to create a model that meets technical needs
• Ensure the quality of the models created by the modeling team meets up to client standards
• Come out with creative solutions on technical issues arising from the team
• Work with animators to design motion controls
• Demonstrate new tools and techniques to teammates of the department
• Set up skeletons on characters as required
• Able to manage a team of 5-7 modelers at a time
• Work with management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines set by the production
• Estimate the time required on modeling tasks
• Continue to explore and learn new ways to improve quality and standard of the team
• Meet up to Lemon Sky quality and standards
• Assist HR team in school visitation, studio visitation and recruitment process
• Ad-Hoc tasks that is required

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of 3D modeling experience
• Strong Character work in portfolio is a priority
• Excellent organizational and management skills;
• Ability to work efficiently with various personalities and different work styles;
• Ability to work independently and in a team;
• High level of initiative, flexibility and confidence;
• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at a time while remaining efficient and mindful of strict deadlines in a high pressure environment;

• Experience in an artistic position
• Experience or base knowledge of scripting languages, shade materials and in-game assets management.
