The Opportunity

Are you excited by the challenge of solving complex business problems with innovative technology? As a Pre-Sales Consultant at FICO®, you'll work directly with customers to understand their strategic goals and design solutions that deliver measurable business impact. Leveraging FICO’s industry-leading analytics and decisioning technologies, you'll help organizations manage risk, combat fraud, strengthen customer relationships, optimize operations, and navigate regulatory requirements. As a trusted advisor and key partner to the sales team, you'll play a critical role in shaping customer success while working at the forefront of technology, analytics, and business transformation.

What You’ll Contribute

  • Conduct discovery sessions with clients to understand their current business challenges and growth strategies.

  • Create and deliver detailed and customized product demonstrations, helping to craft sales strategies and tactics when appropriate.

  • Work with multiple FICO product teams to design product and service solutions to meet client’s business needs.

  • Design and create proof of concepts, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and prepare sales package proposals.

  • Develop pricing scenarios, business benefit and ROI analysis, and creation of competition-differentiating sales strategies.

  • Participate in best practice workshops at customer sites and conferences, as well provide continuing education to sales team on FICO solutions.

What We’re Seeking

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

  • Experience in pre-sales (or post-sales with strong selling aptitude) consulting role with proven success in supporting sales and/or delivering creative solution that adds value to the client’s business objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders- from technical resources to C-level executive management.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated through presentation development and delivery experience, including webinar delivery skills.

  • Proven problem-solving skills as demonstrated by examples of creative and forward-thinking solutions to business issues.

  • Ability to work with others cross functionally as part of solution team.

  • Ability to travel 10-25%.
