Your role at Clorox:

At Clorox, the Key Account Manager (KAM) plays a critical role in driving sustainable business growth. This position is responsible for leading relationships with strategic customers within the Modern trade channel, ensuring the achievement of commercial objectives, excellence in in-store execution, and account profitability, while also developing and leading the assigned team.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of key customers, ensuring delivery of sales objectives (volume and value) and key business KPIs (NCS, RR, MS, among others).

  • Develop and execute Customer Business Plans aligned with the company’s commercial strategy.

  • Efficiently manage Trade Spending, ensuring proper budget utilization and strong return on investment.

  • Drive in-store execution excellence under the AMPS model (Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing & Shelving).

  • Own the P&L for each account, monitoring key variables such as mix, DSO, payment terms, and bad debt.

  • Analyze customer and market data to identify opportunities, propose improvement plans, and anticipate risks.

  • Lead, develop, and coach the assigned team, promoting a high-performance culture.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term commercial relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Monitor critical market indicators and ensure proper execution of defined commercial strategies.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Engineering, or related fields.

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry managing Modern Trade and direct experience managing Walmart and Cencosud.

  • Proven track record of owning commercial targets and delivering results.

  • Strong understanding of forecasting, trade spend management, and NRM fundamentals.

  • Experience working with syndicated data (Nielsen, POS, Retail Link).

  • Intermediate English proficiency, both written and verbal.

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Strong ability to influence customers and internal stakeholders using data-driven insights.

  • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset with a growth mentality.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
