We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer detail-oriented and logically minded professional who supports software construction activities within implementation projects and actively participates in iteration planning. Someone capable of executing development tasks, following technical guidelines, and delivering high-quality, well-documented code. A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a drive for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute software development tasks, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and aligned with technical specifications.
Follow development procedures and best practices, including secure coding, version control, and established naming conventions.
Perform unit testing, maintain technical documentation, and support incident monitoring, reporting, and information security compliance.
Essential Requirements:
Technical degree, technologist, professional studies in technology-related fields, or equivalent experience; additional certifications in Clean Code, version control, or databases are a plus.
Technical knowledge in object-oriented programming, relational and basic non-relational databases, design patterns, SOLID/KISS/YAGNI/DRY principles, Git, and Clean Code practices.
Strong competencies in attention to detail, logical reasoning, problem-solving, results orientation, adaptability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Basic English proficiency (around 50% in reading, writing, and speaking). Experience in software development is not required, though 6 months is desirable.
