About the Role
You will be responsible for assisting in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of insider threats within the organization who may intentionally or unintentionally cause harm to the organization's assets, reputation, or overall security posture.
What You Will Do
- Monitoring and analyzing employee behavior by utilizing security tools and technologies to detect and prevent potential insider threats.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to conduct investigations into suspicious activities, policy violations, and unauthorized data access.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of insider threat monitoring and detection processes and procedures.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential insider threat scenarios.
- Support incident response activities by assisting in containment, evidence collection, and post-incident analysis.
What You Will Need
- 3 years of work experience in Cyber Security (ideally in CSOC and/or Incident Response).
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as cybersecurity, information technology, or criminology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and interpret data effectively.
- Knowledge of insider threat concepts, risk assessment methodologies, security controls and tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
