Overview

We, at Kantar, for the Technology project, are looking for a Junior Cloud Engineer to join our growing team in Kantar. As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will collaborate closely with experienced team members within Kantar teams. Your focus will be mainly to comprehend and implement cloud solutions effectively by teaming up with other members of the team. While learning/enhancing on the job, you'll assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and security for Kantar applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement cloud strategies.

• Monitor and optimize cloud resources to enhance performance and cost-efficiency.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.

• Participate in the evaluation and adoption of emerging cloud technologies.

• Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 1+ years relevant experience or significant internship.

• Desired but not mandatory:

  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.

  • Knows Unix or Windows servers and network management principles.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Willingness to adapt and grow in a fast-paced environment.
