Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Backend Support Specialist to join our Termination US team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation of quotes and invoices, primarily using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets to maintain financial documentation speed and accuracy. You will join a dedicated team focused on managing the North America closure and termination process for both Closures and Domestic specialty teams, ensuring a seamless transition for our customers.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Responsibility 1: Generate and issue precise termination quotes and invoices by verifying billing details—including pricing, quantities, and tax information—against source documents like signed cost summaries and settlement agreements.
Responsibility 2: Collaborate closely with the North America Closures team and Local Markets to verify requirements, track quote status, and respond to internal inquiries to ensure all documentation is competitive and error-free.
Responsibility 3: Ensure compliance with organizational standards by managing the timely activation and deactivation of billing indicators in systems such as SKP, BillTrust, and Salesforce to prevent erroneous charges.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience: Proven data analytical experience with a focus on speed and accuracy, specifically in areas like account closure, new account setup, or order management.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including the ability to use complex formulas such as VLOOKUP, IF statements, and SUM for data management.
Proven Ability: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask against strict deadlines with 100% accuracy while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with sound reading comprehension and active listening abilities.
