Jr.Associate-EU-Market Source Sourcing

Entry level position; provide support to the sourcing function. Ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels. Monitor inventory requests, production schedules and purchase requisitions to coordinate purchasing activities for current/anticipated demand of materials and services. Collect suppliers’ quotations and examines bids. Identify and select suppliers that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality and delivery.

Job Description

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)
Troubleshoot and Monitor requisition flow
Monitoring performance of internal teams based on contractual KPIs and SLAs
Customer communication and Relationship Management: Drive customer satisfaction by building trust and developing strong relationships.
Source product at supplier if required
Internal communication
Support and escalation of Product Master Data and pricing
Targets: Meet/exceed regional SLA based on contractual agreement
Planning/Forecasting: Plan, forecast and achieve objectives and Key Performance Indicators
Proactively seeking ways to improve efficiency: Pro-active participation in technical enhancement, developing strategies to constantly improve team performance
Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)
Academic: Bachelor’s degree, scientific background. Life Science with excellent communication.
Language Requirement: Fluent in English and 1 of the regional languages
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES (Those necessary to achieve conformity of products and services)

A clear ability to manage customer interactions professionally by demonstrating excellent listening and organizational skills, and by using probing questions and reflective language to engage customers and build trust
Ability to work independently and successfully manage time and regional responsibilities
Ability to handle difficult situations effectively
Highly customer focused as well as proactive and team focused
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to comfortably interact with various internal stakeholders (Service centers and local teams)
