Amentum has an opportunity for a Joint Operations Campaign Planner to support Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) by planning and coordinating the full range of special operations, activities, and investments (OAIs) within the First Island Chain. The position will manage the lifecycle of OAIs, ensuring coordination and alignment with the strategic goals of SOCPAC and COMSOCPAC. The role demands high-level coordination, planning, and execution, involving interaction with a range of partners and stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shepherd OAIs within the assigned portfolio from conception through completion, in line with directives from COMSOCPAC and the SOCPAC Director of Operations
- Serve as a key coordinator for OAIs across various agencies, including but not limited to: USINDOPACOM, USSOCOM, SOCPAC, MARFORPAC, USARPAC, PACAF, Interagency Partners, Allies and international partners.
- Plan, monitor, and validate all tasks and deliverables within assigned OAIs.
- Track programmatic details, ensuring timely execution and proper documentation.
- Provide timely updates, briefings, and recommendations related to the assigned portfolio.
- Lead formal and informal meetings to present OAI status and updates to various internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of force disposition, maritime, and special operations relevant to the First Island Chain and broader USINDOPACOM priorities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and Minimum of 5 years of experience in joint operations and special operations planning
- Strong knowledge of the INDOPACOM AOR and associated strategic objectives
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead operations across multiple agencies and international partners.
- Excellent oral, writing, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage complex tasks with attention to detail.
- Must have an active Top-Secret security clearance and be SCI, SAP/STO eligible. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree and 10 years of experience in the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- Advanced Warfighting schools (JAWS, SAMS, MAWS, SAASS)
- Joint Professional Military' Education (JPME) level 1 and 2 certifications
The salary range for this position is $135K to $170K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
