Java Engineer - 925

The Role:

Your role contributes to building innovative products for our globally diverse customer base, that create a massive adoption a.k.a. disruption in the market.

You will drive and build the products, bringing new innovations, better user experiences to increase operational efficiency. You will mentor colleagues for strong technology foundations and culture of delivery excellence.

Success in this role requires passion for product innovation, technology, and customer focus​.

Key Responsibilities:

o Full stack software development using various front-end/back-end technologies

o Design, develop and architect effective solutions to build robust software product

o Use test driven development, build unit and integration tests for continuously testing the features developed

o Build and leverage CI/CD pipeline to deliver the application artifacts

o Work with engineering leadership, product management and stakeholders to define the technical and business features/requirements

o Provide production support once the product is deployed in production to help troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues identified

o Participate in product design, technical design, and planning sessions

o Develop architecture diagrams, flow diagrams and other technical documents

o Help define and improve software development practices

o Build proof of concepts for evaluating various technology options and/or business features

o Lead and mentor junior team members

Skills Required:

o 8+ years of Java development experience

o 4+ years of experience with web application development, building web services

o 4+ years of experience working with RDBMS & No-SQL data stores like Postgres and MongoDB

o Strong experience building microservices architecture-based cloud-native applications and API development using Spring frameworks specifically Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other cloud development technologies like Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Distributed cache, API gateway, Messaging, Service Discovery

o 2+ years of experience building front-end UI using JavaScript based frameworks like Angular or React

o Experience designing and building distributed cloud application architecture, building architecture diagrams and technical documentation

o Extensive experience building cloud applications deployed on and using various Amazon Web Services (AWS)

o Experience with agile engineering practices like TDD, CI/CD and Secure SDLC

o Experience working with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes

o Experience working with various unit testing technologies like Selenium, Cypress, Junit, Postman, Jasmin

o Experience working with Agile methodologies and working in an agile fast paced development environment

o Experience building and using continuous build process using Jenkins, GitHub, or Jira similar tools
