In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Maintain existing activities in ITCI portfolio management process, e.g. coordination of monthly updates, portfolio quality audit execution, etc.
  • Maintain and coordinate IVES documentation, including methodology, playbooks, KBs, etc., including updates, recurring revision cycle maintenance, etc.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the processes and tools in the ServiceNow SPM tool; including Idea, Demand, Project, Portfolio, and associated tools/features
  • Provide guidance on project execution and portfolio management standards to PMs and stakeholders
  • Run training and on-boarding for new PMs, new business team adoptions, etc.
  • Review and maintain of reporting, including quality audits, instructions, issue resolution, follow up with stakeholders as needed, etc.
  • Administrative support, e.g. access mgmt, issue resolution, ad hoc reporting, process completion, etc.
  • Support other IVES Portfolio Team members in ongoing portfolio maintenance activities, as needed
  • IVES Portfolio team Insight pages content creation, maintenance, and coordination 
  • Coordinate recurring and ad hoc comms, e.g. SPARKs design & technology, etc.
  • Develop stories, advise on functionality updates or changes, complete testing of existing and new features, assist in regular upgrade activities
  • Support selected Programs and Projects directly with hands on support in PMO activities execution
  • Actively contribute to revise IVES service catalogue definition

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • 1-3 years of experience in project management and/or PMO
  • Strong attention to details
  • Excellent organizational skills, including multiple priorities handling
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with various org level stakeholders and geographies
  • Strong technical abilities in Project Portfolio Management tools, MS Office, SharePoint, and reporting tools
  • Ability to be proactive and independent, and to be interdependent on the team
  • Eager to learn and excel new areas, as organization matures
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow
  • Basic experience working in an Agile team environment/process
  • Fluent English – written and spoken

It would be a plus if you have:

  • Experience with ServiceNow SPM
  • Additional language
