Job Summary:
The IT Provisioning Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth onboarding of new employees and supporting existing staff by preparing, configuring, and deploying IT equipment and software. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from receiving and setting up devices to maintaining accurate inventory records. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with proven technical skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

Receive, unbox, and inspect new IT equipment (laptops, desktops, mobile devices)

Configure and image devices according to established guidelines

Install and configure necessary software applications

Prepare and ship equipment to new hires or other departments

Set up and deploy equipment at user locations

Update asset tracking systems with accurate and up-to-date information

Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Document all procedures and activities accurately

Assist with user onboarding and answer questions about new equipment

Comply with all company policies and procedures
Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in a related IT support role (or equivalent technical experience) or a completed IT degree/certification

Excellent understanding of computer hardware and software

Experience with operating systems (Windows, macOS) preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25 lbs.
