Zen-Noh Grain Corporation (ZGC) was formed in 1979 to accomplish the goal of establishing a safe and stable supply of U.S. corn, milo, soybeans, and other U.S. food supplies. ZGC is a U.S. subsidiary of ZEN-NOH, the largest agricultural cooperative association in Japan. We operate a grain and oilseed export terminal in Convent, Louisiana, which is the highest-handle grain export terminal in the U.S. In recent years, we have expanded our grain origination and export footprint with joint ventures in Brazil, Canada and Hong Kong. In addition to grain trading, we operate a forage processing and export business headquartered in Washington.
This job is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining all maintenance and electrical systems within the facility to ensure the successful functioning of maintenance and electrical operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, integrating between systems and operations environments, system reliability, security and operational efficiency, overseeing troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, policies and guidelines. This job will work directly with internal information technology and operational teams to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.In this job, you will:
- Manage and maintain facility systems, including scales, FGIS integration, monitoring tools, IoT devices, OT systems, facility technology, and software platforms.
- Ensure uptime and optimal performance of servers, HMIs, and networking equipment within the facility.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures for both IT and OT systems.
- Coordinate with internal networking, OT, and IT teams to execute upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and maintain system integrity.
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime during system changes.
- Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., cameras, Canary) to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Lead initiatives to enhance system reliability, scalability, and security within the facility.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and support services. Ensure effective communication and expectations to and between maintenance and other teams simultaneously to perform projects/activities and provide guidance, including operations, engineering, human resources, safety, external contractors and others.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and standards, regulator information, new technologies, and best practices in maintenance management; interpret to ensure compliance and present recommendations for improvements, where applicable.

Here’s what you’ll need to be considered:
Education
Required - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience; including experience with video management systems (vms) and industrial weighing systems (OneWeigh, ComputWeigh).
Experience
Required - 5 years' experience working with operational technology systems management or in industrial automation environments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN), servers, and industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with IOT platforms and operational technology protocols (e.g. Modbus, OPC, etc.).
- Working knowledge and understanding of location grain handling equipment; including troubleshooting and repair.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with preventative and predictive maintenance programs utilization and implementation; including computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization.
- Strong decision making and conflict management skills.
- Exceptional trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with ability to remain flexible to changing priorities.
- Ability to perform job duties of any job supervised at assigned location.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and follow all operating and emergency procedures.
- Ability to effective coach, mentor, and lead staff to accomplish assignments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work during non-standard business hours that may include evening, nighttime, weekends, holidays, and/or extended hours.
- Ability to work on-call rotation.

Ability to meet requirements of PFT and fit testing, when applicable.
Ability to pass all required testing under FRA and DOT for this position (where applicable).
Ability to perform work in confined spaces.
Ability to safely walk on barge surface(s) with the ability to work around (deep/swift) water.
Ability to stand and walk constantly/continuously.
Ability to understand and communicate verbally, in person and over two-way radio (and recognize emergency alarms).
Ability to understand and communicate written instructions.
Ability to walk safely on top of railcars, open gates, operate vibrators etc., where applicable.
Ability to work extended hours, weekend, holidays and/or alternate shifts as needed.
Ability to work in an environment with high dust levels around grain and other bulk products (where applicable).
Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
Acutely aware of surroundings with ability to quickly adjust to a signal or change in environment.
Uses near, far and peripheral vision and depth perception for task(s) being performed; may need to be able to identify problems with grain.

The expected base pay range for this role is:
$85,770.00 - $109,980.00Actual pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including work location, job-related knowledge, skills and relevant experience for the job. Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular period of time.
