Job Description
The overall target of the position:
This role is responsible for installing, supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems and their software for CAE and related software and training of users.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Report to Manager Business Applications and ensure global availability and development of CAE applications.
- Gather software requirements, analyze solutions, and provide user support as a power user.
- Participate in the “Application Ownership Team” and handle 1st and 2nd level support; coordinate 3rd level support with HZI partners.
- Manage application servers, coordinate with outsourcing partners, and assist with BIM coordination.
- Oversee virtual desktop infrastructure (Citrix/VDI), create documentation, and after initial training and coaching, train users
- Handle budget planning, license administration, software procurement, and participate in new software projects.
Qualifications
Job specific qualification:
- Experience with CAE applications - advantage, not mandatory
- Background in construction or industrial engineering advantageous
- Customer and service oriented
- Independent and structured way of working
- Knowledge of IT project management
- Languages:
- English Level C1 (spoken + written)
- German would be a plus (not mandatory)
