Job Responsibilities:
Assist clients by facilitating smoother processes for filing, managing, and enforcing intellectual property rights across different jurisdictions by utilizing their knowledge of IP rights and the international systems for their protection.
Manage the IP Management Systems by calendaring statutory and non-statutory deadlines, reviewing patent and trademark prosecution documents, and ensuring data integrity.
Prioritize docketing/de-docketing requests, facilitating timely filing of applications and responses, and coordinating with stakeholders.
Prepare and file documents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), tracking foreign filing deadlines, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs); ensuring process SOPs are up to date.
Support administrative tasks related to patent and trademark prosecution while staying updated on PTO guidelines and procedures.
Help manage the client's intellectual property portfolio, including filing, maintaining, and renewing patents, trademarks, and copyrights timely.
Assist in due diligence and IP audits for clients and supporting in data validation activities.
Participate in onboarding new business as well as participating on client calls.
Conduct process training, providing query support, performing quality checks, and data quality audits, participating in client calls, and reviewing and addressing teams and client’s IP know-how requirements. Keep the team informed about changes in IP rules and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
