What we’re hiring for:

We are looking for an aspiring Art Director with experience in idea generation for motion graphics and video. You’ve designed content from scratch that you’re super proud of — from idea to style frames to animation. You frequently conceptualize on the fly, and are proud of your ability to think big, move fast, and be clever. 

The ideal candidate will be:

A visionary young creative majoring in advertising, art direction, design, or similar field with experience in video and motion graphics.

Your team:
It is the responsibility of the Brand Marketing team to continuously push, develop and refine the edges of the VidMob brand experience. Our brand takes the form of many mediums — from video for advertising campaigns to visual designs for virtual events with brands like TikTok and Snapchat — and it’s our role as stewards to consistently elevate the experience with a scalability mindset. You will work directly with a creative director on a small, nimble team who champions many types of projects that span all corners of the company. 

Internship qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an advertising or design school program, agency or in-house team.
  • Sharp skills in research, concept ideation, motion-minded design.
  • A champion of the Adobe Creative Cloud (preferably Illustrator and Photoshop; After Effects is a major plus).
  • Broad knowledge of visual design, with a focus on video and motion design in advertising.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the creative visionary that can transform strategic initiatives into visual narratives in the video and motion space. 
  • Present your work to the directors on the team and explain strategic reasons behind creative decisions.

Program Requirements:

  • Must have completed at least 3 years of undergraduate at an advertising or design school.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship.
