The Red Hat UX Production team is looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to gain practical experience with open source and Red Hat products during a summer internship to join us as an UX Producer Intern. What you will do
- Stage, deploy, and maintain digital ads and web pages; update with supplied images, copy, metadata, tracking codes, and links
- Conduct quality assurance, including link checking, proofreading and brand standards, browser, device, and functionality testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web pages
- Edit web pages using templates and HTML
- Maintain digital assets and other project-related documentation
What you will bring
- Ability to work full-time May-August
- Currently pursuing a degree in digital media, web design, or a related field; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and digital graphic production
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop, XD, Illustrator)
- Knowledge of web standards, information architecture, usability, and taxonomy
- Initiative, problem-solving skills, and willingness and ability to learn on your own
The following are considered a plus:
- Experience with enterprise content management systems (Drupal)
- Knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud (Analytics, Target)
- Experience in building and maintaining company websites
